Our goal is to help refugees find lost family members.

Refugees United Org. is a Non Governmental Organization built on the strength of the will to succeed. Not in a commercial sense, but in proving to the world the lengths one can go when setting a goal and striving towards it via hard work, dedication and determination.
In the world of organizations, the idea of a “simple task” has all but evaporated. What should be straightforward and without complications is often an acrobatic exercise in bureaucracy and plain old mismanagement, with noble and good ideas often diminished into impaired versions of the original intent - like having the artistic vision of Picasso, but not the technical skills to bring to life that which you see.

Our goal in helping refugees locate lost family via refunite.org is to cut away all the barricades between the seeker and the sought, to allow the refugees direct access to each other through an immensely powerful - yet simple - search engine. Exactly what’s needed in a situation like the one most refugees find themselves in: No .org employees to contact in a foreign country, no difficult forms to fill in and no technical obstacles to these human beings who are most often illiterate and worn out. And with every registration entirely anonymous if so desired, we offer a security and invisibility none others can match.

Through donations you can aid our progress. We are a Non-Profit Organization relying on the determination of an, as of yet, unpaid workforce. Unfortunately, not everything is free and we have costs in need of financing.

Our policy of transparency guarantees everyone a candid look at our finances. Every incoming and outgoing Euro will be published on the website, along with our accounting reports. Everything is open to everyone, always!

A main priority for Refugees United has been to do away with the tremendous administrative costs of traditional aid organizations and the guesswork involved in where which Dollar goes and why. We aim to keep the costs as low as possible while shedding light on the exact spending.
